Junior Finance Controller

Craftzing Group is a rapidly expanding company, projected to exceed 200 employees in 2025. Our organic growth and strategic acquisitions demand a skilled, flexible Finance- and Controlling team. As a Finance Controller & Automation Analyst at Craftzing, you will support our financial (decision-making) processes by assisting with budgeting, finance operations, controlling and accounting, reporting and analysing always on the lookout for automation and improvements.

What you’ll do

You’ll start in a broad, hands-on role at the heart of our financial operations. Today, you’ll still handle many operational tasks yourself — but with one goal: to understand, structure, and automate them wherever possible. You are the link between finance operations and digitalization.

• You handle the operational processing of accounting documents (AP & AR), payments, and monthly closings using tools like Exact Online, pre-accounting software, and Excel.

• You prepare dashboards and reports together with the CFO and Finance Business Partner (e.g., cash flow, budget vs. actual, KPIs).

• You support the preparation of VAT filings and audit files with well-structured data and overviews.

• You assist with data integration during onboarding of new entities or M&A processes.

• You identify errors, inconsistencies, or opportunities for optimization in financial processes.

• You actively contribute to improving our reporting flow (e.g., for the Board of Directors) and the data quality behind the numbers.

• You help drive the internal adoption of digital finance within Craftzing.

You’re Craftzing-material when

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a similar field.

• You have 1–3 years of experience in a financial or accounting role and are familiar with concepts like journals, reconciliations, and closings.

• You are comfortable working in Excel and tools like Google Sheets. Experience with automation (VBA, Apps Script, Power Query…) is a strong plus.

• You enjoy hands-on work but always look critically at how things can be done faster, smarter, or more efficiently.

• You love structure, work with precision, and don’t shy away from deadlines.

• You learn quickly and switch smoothly between systems and tasks.

• You are solution-oriented and communicate clearly with colleagues from different teams.
