Front-end UI Developer

Craftzing is looking for a Front-end / Design System Developer with a true love for component-based UI, all things CSS, styling, accessibility and javascript. You're a bit of a designer with code, enjoy building scalable UI libraries to support tens of digital platforms? 

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Design System's & scalable UI's for websites & applications using HTML, CSS (& sass), JavaScript (& TypeScript) and frameworks like Vue or React.
  
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to build front-end components and integrate in the front-end layer.
• Explore and leverage the possibilities of (native) WebComponents.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Work closely with project managers and clients to understand requirements, estimate project timelines, and communicate progress effectively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, fostering a culture of collaboration and maintainability.

We're looking for

• You have experience building and styling scalable components.
• Strong background / expert in Web (HTML, CSS, JS/TS), comfortable with modern frameworks like Vue orReact
• You have experience with style methodologies like BEM/IT/Cube CSS or similar.
• You can consume third-party APIs or GraphQL.
• You have worked on major B2B and B2C web and mobile apps.
• You are familiar with scrum and working in an agile environment. 
• You are familiar with accessibility best practices and know how to implement inclusive patterns. 
• You ensure the technical feasibility of UX/UI designs and recommend enhancements. 
• You take ownership of the product you are working for and go the extra mile.
• You have strong oral and written Dutch/English communication skills.
• You have a true consulting mindset
